Many Hands Makes For Little Work
Lots of different ways to cut ceramics
Preparation continues for launching our community project. We are grateful for the extra helping hands, ones filled with excitement and eagerness to contribute. Happy helping hands! Even with a down pouring tempest of rain and wild winds, we gathered to break ceramics and sort tessera.
Realizing I didn't know the term. So, I thought I'd add a comment. Tessera is an individual tile used in creating a mosaic. Mosaic describes techniques for assembling tesserae (the plural) into a design. Who knew that breaking up tiles could be so satisfying of a way to get out frustrations and create beauty :)
